Dr. Elizabeth Rising is a dedicated and compassionate veterinarian with a strong commitment to providing high-quality, individualized care for every patient. She values building strong relationships with clients and believes thoughtful collaboration is essential to supporting both animal health and family peace of mind.
Dr. Rising earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and her veterinary degree from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. She also holds a Master of Science in Aquatic Veterinary Medicine from the Institute of Aquaculture at the University of Stirling and a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Pathology from the Royal Veterinary College in London. She is a WAVMA-Certified Aquatic Veterinarian and is NAVC Human–Animal Bond Certified.
Her professional interests include canine and feline general practice and preventive medicine, as well as ornamental and pet fish health. Dr. Rising is USDA-accredited to complete both domestic and international travel health certificates and enjoys helping clients navigate the logistics of traveling safely with their pets.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Rising enjoys recreational SCUBA diving, traveling, growing hot peppers, and managing her cats’ Instagram page.
